Difference Between Adapation and Modification

Modification means to modify something, like if I had a spelling list to give the students, I would change the spelling list to fit the students need. Adapation means to adapt to something, say if you had a device already that you were using, and they took that one that you had away from you and gave you another device that was totally different from the one that you had, you have to adapt to the new one.

PODCASTS STEPS

When you are working on a podcast or creating a podcast, you must remember that you have to take things step by step, you must act like your audience dones't know anything about what you are podcasting. You also have to remember when you podcast to put in titles, it makes it look better and sound would be good, because what if someone is listening and they are half blind. Make sure you go back in see what you have done.

PODCASTS

Podcast is a good tool to use when, you are teaching your students hands on lesson plans; or if you have a class on technology teaching them how to run different things on the computer. A lot of my students that I have live in porverty so they don't have things like computers, they don't even know how to type. I really like podcast you can find almost anything you want in ITunes and its free, you can't beat that.

Nimas

My understanding of Nimas is is a technical standard used by publishers to produce source files, that may be used to develop multiple specialized formats (such as Braille or audio books) for students with print disabilities. Teachers need to be more involved in special educational technology. A lot of students need this type of technology, if we don't know about as teachers, how can we tell parents about the different technology, to get for there child. Nimas can build a lot of schools special ed. programs.

Second Life

Second life is kind of a cool site, that you can go to and meet new people. It is not something that you will let your kids get on. When we got on as a class then it is okay, we had a really good time on second life.

Smart Board

Smart board is a good tool for students and teachers to use. Its almost nesseccary in each class room, if everyone have a smart board in there classroom we will be better organized about things. Students can really benefit form using smart board. I think you will see a lot of growth from students, by using a smart board.

Freedom Machines Video

The video was very intersesting, because it showed you a different side of what go through and even how they use machines day to day. The machines in the video, people can't afford the machines, so that is why a lot of people don't have the machines. That is the worst thing about the machines in the video.
